    Kia ora, welcome to year 9 drama!

    Ko Miss Steel toku ingoa - I will be your drama teacher this year. I'm excited that you have chosen drama as one of your option subjects.

    This year we will be learning about drama techniques, elements, conventions and technologies. You will also be learning to devise, memorise, rehearse and perform throughout the year - including for your assessments. 

    Please check MHO regularly for activities and planning. Your assessments will be linked here, at the top of the MHO page.

      You will be selecting and refining your use of drama techniques and working collaboratively with your group, or individually to perform a monologue or duologue.

      In this assessment you are required to show your understanding of drama conventions and technologies (staging OR costume). Attendance and participation in drama distance learning will also be taken into account so those who have been participating and showing effort will receive a grade boost.
