  • 23 March - 29 March

    Hey 7F1 and 7F2,

I hope that when you all receive this, you and your families are all well.

I know isolation might seem exciting at first, while it feels like you get a bit of a holiday, but remember it that after a while it is likely it will start to wear you down as you realise you cant see any people, other that those you share a house with. It is important that you find ways to keep busy.

That can involve gaming - not just online, but also board games with families. Finding fun ways to interact with your friends from a distance is a new challenge, and you’ll need to get creative!  Make sure you check in on your friends and stay in touch.

I will be available to you online when I can and will do my best after the holidays to be online when we have a scheduled class - I will also try out a google hangout after 15th April.

The first task is physical. I'm setting myself a challenge to build up to running faster over 10km over the next couple of weeks!!

You will need to keep active - we know this is an important part of our hauora and staying healthy!

    Possible ideas:

Walk/run the dog. Walk with members of your household (remember you can’t meet up with your friends to do this) Youtube - fitness videos - HIIT - High intensity, yoga/pilates, resistance training - there are thousands of them.  Set yourself a goal to start getting: fit

If you’re still stuck for workout ideas I have given you some links below that don’t require any equipment:

Challenge your friends, do them together over skype, facetime, whatta app call and time yourself and try beat your previous times. Just TRY something!
