    • Nutrition - Identify the five main food groups and the serving sizes
    • Identify indigenous Māori food ingredients

    Success Criteria:

    • Participate in a game of Tapu Ae
    • Explain the five main food groups and the serving sizes for different age groups
    • Categorise the traditional Māori food into the five main food groups

    FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

    • This traditional game combines coordination, working together as a team, concentration, fun and Te Reo

    Success Criteria:

    • Participate in a game of Poi Rākau
    • Demonstrate listening skills/concentration, coordination and working together
