    My name is Mrs Priest and I will be your Hospitality teacher this year. I am looking forward to meeting you on Thursday as Monday was Teacher Only Day.

    On Thursday we will do some get to know you activities and go over my expectations when doing practicals.

    On Thursday we will be looking at Flowcharts and how they are used. 

    On Monday we will be making Savoury Muffins

        - I can list the various shapes used for a flow chart 

         - I know the differences between the flowchart shapes

         - I can create a flowchart for making a cup of tea

    On Monday we will be making Savoury Muffins and on Thursday we will be looking at Flour and Gluten and learning about the Muffin Mix Method

    • an understanding what is meant by the Muffin Mix method

    On Monday we will be making Blueberry Muffins with Crumble Topping.

    O Thursday we will be looking at what it takes to make perfect muffin, worksheets on GC

    Kia ora and welcome to Week 6 of Term 1

    On Monday you will be making Calzone and on Thursday we will learn about what gluten is and how to cost a recipe. You will also inform me of what muffin recipe you would like to try for selling.

    • explain what gluten is and what its purpose is in baking

    On Monday we will be making Pancakes and on Thursday we will learn more about marketing and selling muffins.
