  • 5 September - 11 September

    REAL LIFE DOCUMENTATION

We have discussed how life imitates art. In the world of Hollywood we are now discussing how reality becomes scripts for producers to capitalise on without paying script or story board writers.

One such example was Flight 93 , Pele , Sully , Snowden , The Sky is Pink, Thirteen Lives, and Unstoppable.

You have chosen to watch Thirteen Lives, and Unstoppable.

I have attached articles about these movies with clear links:

In your Assessment (Due Week 2 Term 4) you will unpack the directors take of these recounts of actual events

Paragraph 1 : Unpack both directors, past work and how they recounted their story. I need depth here. Did they tell the story accurately.

Paragraph 2 : Find one scene in both movies that held your attention. Briefly describe both scenes telling about camera angles and sound that made the scenes so powerful

Paragraph 3. Comment on the cover - was it captivating to ensure it fully represented the movie or was it misleading?

Paragraph 4. I need your opinion on these movies. What you liked or disliked

Paragraph 5 I need you tell me how you would re create this differently based on your opinion in paragraph 4. Feel free to be critical and honest here.
