    Kia ora year 7s and welcome to week 6! This week we will be continuing to learn about sun safety by exploring coloured and UV light

    Success Criteria: 

    • I can identify colours of the rainbow
    • I can explain how white light splits into different colours
    • I can describe the dangers of UV light explosure
    • I can identify when UV light is the strongest
    •  I can discuss how to protect yourself from UV light
    Activities:
    1. Prism task + worksheet (literacy)
    2. Newton's disc activity 
    3. UV danger slides task (literacy and numeracy)
