Kia ora, this is one of our last weeks together, and we are tying together the topic: this planning will be the same across both weeks, as I will change plans depending on the energy of the class and my presence as I have Y10 work experience to follow up with.
The two activities we will be doing over two weeks: Sentence Starters & Paragraph Construction for your realistic or fantasy holiday over the summer break, getting you all in the mood for summer holidays. This is so you can focus your minds and get ready for the break.
The other activity will be Kiwiana: what is it? How can we identify it? What are some examples of kiwiana, and how do those examples reflect Aotearoa's heritage and culture?Success Criteria: I can/have...
- I can define Kiwiana and its relevance to Aotearoa
- I can construct a wide variety of sentences and paragraphs that showcase my upcoming holiday plans
