Term 4 Week 2

Kia ora Year 7s, we will continue our focus on tourism - before going on the Great Road Trip - by looking at the impact of tourism, both internationally and domestically. If you are unfamiliar with those terms, well, you're going to be aware of them.

We will look at primarily the environmental and economic impacts of tourism, especially with regards to NZ's branding as clean and green. What does this mean? What impact does our travel and leisure have?

May be cut short by various Term 4 school events.

Success Criteria: I can/have...

• I can explain the impact of tourism within New Zealand and some small examples outside of the country.
