    Hei Mahi / Activities:

    1. Use the attached world map to identify the different regions of the world where important minerals are mined.
    2. Complete the Density document from last week.
    3. Create a slide show with the following points- Slide 1- Paste the attached world map, Slide 2- List the minerals from the map and identify the countries that they are mined from, Slide 3- Compare the minerals based on Colour, lustre, hardness, Slide 4- Identify the uses of the minerals mentioned on the map , Slide 5- Difference between an Ore and a mineral with example, Slide 6- List the economic impact of mining in these countries, Slide 7- Environmental impact.
