Kia Ora 8M2. Welcome back to a new Term. This term our context is around "Survival" and we are going to start the term by looking at the different food groups and their role.

- Identify the different food groups.
 - Differentiate between macro and micronutrients.
 - List the role of each food group in making a healthy body.

- Read through the following website on topics such as nutrients, food groups etc- https://nutritionfoundation.org.nz/nutrition-facts/nutrients/
 - Once you have read through the website, answer the following questions in your notebooks- 1) Define micro and macronutrients with example. 2) Define the role of each macronutrients in our body.
 - On a google document, write the different food groups found in the attached food cards.
