This week you are being introduced to the Performance Assessment.

You will work out who you are going to perform with and what you are going to perform.

This week, you will practice the music as individuals. You should try to get the opening part of your music down.

Success criteria - you can/have...

• Play through the opening section of your music with reasonable accuracy
• Identified the instrument-specific techniques you need to work on to perform the piece

Activities:

• Listening to a recording of your piece to identify the techniques required and difficult sections
• Practice time - learning the opening section of your piece
• Weekly lesson with Mr Picot
