Term 2/ Week 3~5

Hi everyone! :)

In Week 3 + 4, we will be taking a break from Painting and will be going back to using dry media (charcoal and pencil) and will be building our observational and recording (drawing) skills. We will build our observational skills by using reference photos to accurate copy what we see onto paper and will build our recording (drawing) skills through capturing the correct form/texture through the evidence of tonal shading.

There are 2 different activities, where you will produce 2 different drawings. One drawing is of a skull using white charcoal against black paper and the other drawing will be a pencil drawing of your self-portrait + skull combined in a surrealist composition.
