  • Kia Ora everyone,

    Welcome to Art 2024. 

    To kick off the term we will be focusing on our drawing and painting skills to learn a variety of pencil, pen and paint techniques. I am hoping that by the end of the year, you will have built a library of artistic skills :) 

    I am looking forward to exploring the exciting world of Art with you all this year.

    • Shane Cotton inspired Painting unit Assignment

      Students have been set the task of looking at cultural motifs as motivation to create a painting in the style of artist Shane Cotton. They will apply their level of knowledge in the composition layout and use a range of drawing and painting conventions to complete their work.

    • Dry media mini board Assignment
      Due: Thursday, 17 October 2024, 3:00 PM

      Students will use dry media to accurately record information and produce a mini board. The theme of this assessment is to capture Aotearoa using dry media.
