Section outline

  • Kia ora, this week we will be finishing off last weeks focus on the Olympics and beginning our introduction into tourism - we will be interrupted next week by a teacher only day so we will likely end up cramming a lot of content in this week. Activities will be finishing off our Olympics sheets and moving on to an engaging discussion about tourism in class, and its impacts on select locations (NZ/Japan & Korea/Spain) as well as having a tourism overview worksheet to work on.

    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • I can create a definition of tourism and apply it to many different subcategories of tourism
    • I can suggest why certain countries may be having lingering resentment towards tourism
