• We are PLANNING to explore the history of NZ migration so that we can construct a timeline of these events

Kia ora and welcome to week 3! This week we will be continuing with our assessment showing our knowledge of the early history of migration to NZ, and the experiences of the Chinese gold miners.

Success criteria

• I can name the events of early European arrival
• I can describe the events leading up to Chinese gold miner arrival
• I can explain the discrimination faced by the Chinese gold miners
• I can construct a timeline
