    EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

    • We are exploring ‘Legends of Aotearoa’ by discovering great Kiwi explorers, artists and writers.
    • We are exploring ‘Legends of Aotearoa’ by connecting with the creations of Kiwi explorers, artists & writers.
    • We are exploring ‘Legends of Aotearoa’ by recognising the contribution of Kiwi explorers, artists & writers to New Zealand.

    Big Idea: Aotearoa: Where Legends Are Born

    Activities:

    -Reading about Kiwi legend ;Black Fern-Melodie Robinson.

    -Learning why Melodie is a legend.

    -Presenting our Descriptive writing from last week.
