        • We are EXPLORING... Whanau Identity by exploring Wai Whanau values & expectations
        • We are EXPLORING... Cultural Identity & Diversity by reflecting on our culture and discovering other cultures.

    FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

      • We are FOCUSSING...on ‘TURANGAWAEWAE by developing our understanding of the aspects of 'Identity, Culture and Diversity' such as our personal & cultural values, Wai whanau values, MHJC values.

      • We are FOCUSSING...on ‘TURANGAWAEWAE by identifying ‘Who Am I’ and what makes me a unique person.

    Activities:

    • Learning about MHJC Six Step Essay Writing Process.

    • Learning how to use ‘SEXY’ for essay writing.

    • Planning and writing an essay on the given topic.
