Please work on your book review of 'The Cay' by Theodore Taylor and hand in your booklet on Thursday June 29th.
Learning Intentions: We are learning to (WALT)...
- Respond to text with our own unique writing voices
- listen to a novel as a shared reading and writing experience
Success Criteria: I can/have...- Use a variety of simple , compound and complex sentences in my writing
- proof read for punctuation and sentence sense in short answers
- give feed back and feed forward to a classmate's writing
Activities:
- Monday S4: Hand out a booklet to each student. You can begin to complete your final copy of your book review of The Cay by Theodore Taylor. It must be perfect and following the guidelines in your English book (already glued in) There are coloured pencils in the cupboard.
- Tuesday S4: complete your booklet of your book review assessment and hand in for marking
- Friday S5: Final Library session for this term - library is booked. Browse and Issue books for the holidays.

- We are PLANNING on preparing a book review so that we can publish and present to our library in a way that promotes our novels.
