Welcomec to Week 8!

This week  we will study a feature film as a visual text. 

Our major focus is character development (how certain characters have evolved from beginning to middle through to the end of the film).

We will also analyse the lessons certain characters have taught us through their traits and actions in the film.

EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

• We are EXPLORING visual language techniques used in films.
• We are EXPLORING camera techniques directors used to achieve certain effect.
• We are EXPLORING characters, themes and narrative in films.
• We are exploring character development in visual texts

Success Criteria: I can/have...

• studied the film as a visual text
• used PEEL paragraph structure to explain hoe cerain characters have evolved in the film
• explained the important lesson learnt from these characters.
