EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

This week our focus is learning about the power on static images  You may have heard the saying  'A picture is worth a thousand words'. 

We will learn:

 - what is static image

- the feature/ techniques used to create powerful static images

- the real meaning behind a picture (static image). What is the main message in this picture?

Success Criteria: I can 

• explain what is static image
• name the features/ techniques used to create powerful static images
• discover the real meaning behind a picture (static image). What is the main message in this picture?

Activities:

1. Complete the Ststic Image task on EP (see Google Classroom) . It's a good idea to jot down some notes, especially about static image techniques in your English book.
2. Group activity:  Posters - identify the techniques used in a staitc image and explain thier effects.
3. Explain what symbolism means. Identify the symbolism in the posters.
