      Kia ora 8F1 and welcome back to term 4! This term we are focusing on accepting challenges and learning new skills! Our challenges are going to be around learning new circus skills!! I am so excited about this and the learning which is going to happen, I hope you are too!

      In PE this week we will be exploring different circus skills and finding out which ones are challenges for us.

      PE Activities: Focus on Hand Eye co-ordination in Juggling

      1. Scarf Juggling
      2. Juggling- working with Miss Young
      3. Keeping the ball up
      4. Skipping- catching different size balls in the middle
      5. Reaction activity

      We are learning how to accept the challenge of learning new skills

      Success criteria

      • I can identify tasks which are challenges for me in our circus context

      • I can describe why these tasks are challenges for me

      • I can explain solutions of getting over these challenges

      • I can apply my knowledge and skills learnt this term to overcome my challenge and perform in a circus
