    • Kia ora Year 8,

      This week we are going to be focusing on stereotypes. 

      Learning Intention:

      We are learning to develop our knowledge around sexuality.

      Success Criteria:

      I can Identify what the difference between sex and sexuality is

      I can identify the female and male reproductive system

      I can define what transgender is

      I can explain why MHJC is currently doing for transgender students

      I can explain my views around transgender athletes and inclusion in sport

      I can apply my knowledge around transgender students and athletes to make an inform policy for the whanau election


      Activities

      - What does society say we should be like activity

    - Continuum

    - Sport 1: ultimate game

    • Woman should do all the cooking

    • Men need to earn more than woman

    • Woman should stay at home with the kids

    • Men should NOT like the colour pink

    • Woman should not play rugby

    • Netball is a girls sport

    • Men are better drivers than woman

    • Men should not express their feelings eg) cry

    • Women are weaker than men

    • Men should earn more in sport than females
