FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

• We are FOCUSING on identifying and analysing aspects of our studied novels, in particular the decisions that characters make in difficult situations.
• We are FOCUSING on our speaking and listening skills (use of voice, body language, listening and responding to others)

Kia ora... GREAT efforts in analysing your character's actions in difficult situations, referencing your knowledge of the 'emotional' and 'logical' brain, and the 'freeze, fight, or flight' response. Well done.

This week's focus will be on dramatic interviews. You will work in pairs (interviewer and person who has experienced a difficult event) to practise your speaking and listening skills.
