    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING to understand the importance of choosing when to swing, block, or let a ball pass while batting so that we can practise creating different strategies to gain points.
    • We are PLANNING to understand the role of communication in making effective decisions as a team so that we can share our thoughts with other team mates to create a positive outcome.

    Learning Intention: 

    PE- We are learning to analyse various game situations to identify decision making opportunities.

    Health- We are focused on defining Puberty and the understanding the significance of it during human development

    Monday-  

    TEACHER ONLY DAY 

    Wednesday- Practical 

    This week, you will be making a start on Puberty. 

    Success Criteria: 

    By the end of this lesson, you will be able to: 

    - Define what Puberty is. 

    - Identify the correct terms for body parts 

    Today, you will be completing a Brainpop activity about Puberty, after our discussion of what you know about Puberty. 


    Thursday- Practical

    Success Criteria: 

    By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

    - Demonstrate team skills 

    - Identify 3 rules from 4 wicket cricket. 

    Today, you will be continuing with 4 wicket Cricket in the Gym. 

    What games have similar rules or layout as 4 wicket cricket? What are some similar sports that resemble movements of body and ball? 

    I want you to start practicing thinking strategically in a team. How will you make it home successfully? Will it result in a loss? What do you or your team need to do to successfully win the game?
