    • Describe symmetry using the concept of reflection, rotation and translation in patterns, objects and designs


    Activities:

    1. Recap of transformations - reflection, rotation and translation
    2. Recognising symmetry in patterns
    3. Continue working on assessment
    4. Go over rubric
    5. Explain how to attempt assessment - Go over exemplar
    6. Describing symmetry using geometrical concepts (refer to exemplar)
    7. Continue creating the basic pattern and a design using the basic pattern 


    Homework:

    Work on assessment
