  • Kia Ora and welcome back to Term 3, week 1!

    This week your will be working on your numeracy certificate and presenting your fitness circuits for the field that you did last term. We will also start exploring cultural number systems from the countries participating in the FIFA womens word cup.

    LI-Learning intentions~

      • We are exploring to apply our understanding of the history of number by researching and preparing a short talk in which you use and explain the words archaeologists, cultures, anthropologists, hieroglyphics, BC, AD and tally.
      • We are exploring maths/number patters/designs from the different COUNTRIES OF FIFA WOMENS WORLD CUP by researching the history and culture and recording notes
      • We are exploring geometric patterns by constructing and identifying patterns/symbols

      • Research and and prepare a short talk using key words on the history of number
      • Research my FIFA Country to understand the history of maths/ cultural number systems and patterns
      • Identify and construct a geometric pattern
