  • Kia Ora and welcome to week 8! This week you will be starting your assessment.
    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI

    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

    • We are PLANNING to use our BEEP TEST DATA so that we can APPLY AND JUSTIFY OUR STATISTICAL RESULTS FOR OUR ASSESSMENT.
    • We are PLANNING to use our BEEP TEST DATA so that we can APPLY OUR STATISTICAL LITERACY SKILLS FOR OUR ASSESSMENT AND REAL LIFE SITUATIONS
      • We are PLANNING to create and design a FITNESS obstacle course on paper/google doc so that we can APPLY OUR SURVIVAL SKILLS FOR A FIT AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND collaborate with peers and practise using Maori words.

    Success Criteria~

    I can~

    1. Complete both pre- and post- fitness tests in PE.

    2. Pose a suitable QUESTION.

    3. Organise the Data in separate Columns.

    4. Analyse the data using Google Sheets (For both pre and post test)

      1. Calculate: mean, mode, median, maximum, minimum, range,

      2. Extra: Lower quartile median,upper quartile median, Interquartile range

    5. Draw suitable GRAPHS (at least 2 your choice) using Google Sheets. 

    6. Write a CONCLUSION and JUSTIFY your answer(s) -(a paragraph).

    7. Make a comment about your own fitness and how it affects your general well being Hauora (2 paragraphs in total).
