Section outline

  • EXPLORE / TŪHURA

    EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

    • We are EXPLORING how to express our point of view and perspectives through an oral presentation so that we can speak up on an issue that concerns me
    • We are EXPLORING by recognising that we all have differing opinions on issues and their impact
    • We are EXPLORING by investigating a topic of interest

    In English this week:

We are defining new vocabulary so that we can understand words such as conspiracy or disinformation.

We are learning how to read and critically analyse online material from a variety of sources.

We are learning about tools that can help us investigate the authenticity of online material.

    Success Criteria

I can explain what these terms mean and give an example for each one:
    bias
    disinformation
    conspiracy
    fake
