    EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

    • We are exploring.......SPORT - A LANGUAGE 4 CHANGE (Wānanga) by watching the film ‘Rise.’
    • We are exploring…….SPORT - A LANGUAGE 4 CHANGE (Wānanga) by analysing a range of Human Rights issues raised in the film
    • We are exploring.......Film Study (Visual Text) by observing the elements of Film Making in the film ‘Rise’
    • We are exploring.....SPORT - A LANGUAGE 4 CHANGE (Wānanga) by analysing the ways in which SPORTS can make the desired changes in the world we live in today
    • We are exploring.....Diverse Human Rights issues raised in the film by asking questions and in turn developing our own Point Of View in relation to those issues.

      • We are FOCUSING...on Film Study by developing our understanding of different aspects of film-making through the film ‘RISE’ such as Story/Plot,Themes, Characterisation Dialogues, Camera Angles, Camera Shots Camera- Movements, Editing , Music, Sound, Setting and Makeup etc.
