      • We are PLANNING to construct a Verbal text so that we can demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and audience through deliberate choice of content, language and text form.
      • We are PLANNING to deliver an oral presentation so that we can express our ideas, opinions and thoughts on our chosen topic.
    FOCUS / ARONGA

    FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

      • We are FOCUSED on expressing our ideas, opinions and thoughts on our chosen topic by planning and constructing an oral presentation.
      • We are FOCUSED on effective public speaking by understanding, discussing and applying the features of verbal language, body language for making an oral presentation.

    Activities:

    -Using the given template, writing our speech.

    -Using language devices, sequence markers and persuasive techniques in our speech.
