BIG IDEA: COMMON WEALTHY GAMES
This week, we start our Term 3 context 'Common Wealthy Games.' Just imagine that you wish to apply for a job at the Commonwealth Games or you want to volunteer for the games. Think about your own strengths, talents, passions and interests. What kind of future pathway/career you are seeking? What subjects you would need to study? This will be different for everybody depending on your choices.
During this term, we will be learning about the following:
-Qualifications, skills, aptitude and passions required for your sought after roles/jobs
-School's contribution in career
-Career Quest
-Communication with the employer: both written & verbal
-Writing a C.V. & Cover Letter
-Preparing for the interview
-Developing work-ready skills & aptitude
-Money matters: salary & tax
-Health & Safety & drug testing at work place
