  • Kia ora, welcome to year 10 drama!

    You will be having 2 drama teachers this year. Miss Shields and Miss Steel. We are excited that you have chosen drama as one of your option subjects.

    This year we will be learning about drama techniques, elements, conventions and technologies. You will also be learning to devise, memorise, rehearse and perform throughout the year - including for your assessments.

    • Year 10 Drama Assessment Two: Conventions Assignment

      You will be working collaboratively with your group to create a skit from a genre of your choice. You will need to consider appropriate elements and conventions of your chosen genre and you must include the assigned music as one of your conventions. You will need to develop your ideas as a group and apply conventions to devise a story packed with drama.
