- Define Ecology and ecosystems
- Observe and identify the relationship between living and non-living things in an environment
- Make connections to explain the interactions with and interdependence of living and non-living things in an environment
Activities:
Please attempt all written activities in your Science books.
- Identify the connection/relationship among these - soil, worms, plants, bees and butterflies, humans eg soil is home for worms, worms make the soil richer in nutrients which helps the plants to grow etc

- Copy the definitions of Ecosystems and Ecology from the video into your Science books
- Do the Biotic and Abiotic worksheet given below in your Science books
- Draw an example of an ecosystem(you can use your computer to search). Write how living and non-living things are interdependent in that ecosystem. To be done in Science books
