    Please allocate time to complete last week's Writing skills task on commas on EP. 

    Ensure 80%+ on Reading Plus.

    End on the Year Writing - Wednesday 10:50am - 1pm. Please be ready:

    •  Device fully charged.

    • Find a quiet place with no distractions at home for the duration on the writing assessment on EP. (DO NOT DISTURB mode)

    • Inform your family members about this assessment. 

    • DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SEAT UNTIL THE WRITING TIME IS OVER. Time will keep running. 

    • THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT WRITING TASK AND ENTIRELY YOUR WORK. 

    • Join the class on time! @ 10:50am

    • Actual writing will happen on EP in test mode: Class brainstorm & note taking on Google Meet (20-30 minutes), sit the writing assessment on EP (20 minutes planning, 70 minutes writing and editing) You MUST finish the writing part at least 10 minutes before the time is up so that you can edit and proofread you writing as the final piece of work. 

    • Google Meet at 10:50 am on Wednesday. A meet link will be sent for you to join on Wednesday. Make sure to check your email regularly.

    • Revise persuasive writing  doc you used for speeches. It has a lot of tips, techniques, sentences openers, how to structure/organise your writing, how to PEEL your paragraphs, etc. (It will become useful to you when writing this assessment) See the Google Classroom link above for this. 

    • Remember, run-on sentences and comma splices are a NO, NO. 



    DO NOT PANIC; JUST PREPARE YOURSELF TO GIVE YOUR BEST!


    Google Meet on Monday @ 11:30am - you must attend. We will go over some basic requirements for the End of the Year Writing which you will write on Wednesday.
