    This week, we continue to explore the use of personification and precise vocabulary in writing.

    We will complete crafting the personification poem you started last week.

      • brainstormed and gathered information of a coastal object
      • crafted a personification poem on the chosen object
      • edited my poem to make sure it has precise vocabulary and descriptions that create a clear mental picture
      • emailed my poem to nnarayan@mhjc.school.nz 
      • illustrated and published my poem after I have received and acted on feedback from Mrs. Narayan (and my family).

      Activities

      • Choose one coast object
      • Find out about its descriptions and characteristics
      • Write and publish a personification poem on the chosen object (use the information you have collected on your object to write this).
      • Illustrate and publish
