• Brainstorm some ideas for your dish
• Decide on the ingredients required 
• Determine the quantity for the ingredients (think carefully about this - the most important ones  will have greater quantity) Think of it as the integral parts without which the dish is not possible.
• Write the method for this recipe Remember to start with imperative verbs and add adverbs to make the instructions clear and easy to follow. (Check out some adverbs in the examples above).
• Give your dish a creative name
• Illustrate with your recipe - be creative!
• Present to the class.
