  • Good Morning...students. This week you will research Trade Aid and its principles that support children at work. 

    We will also do a reflection activity and an introduction into term 3 context.

    Activities:

    1. Create an information chart on trade aid explain what is it/ its principles/ how has this been effective in addressing child labor/ stores and its functions globally.
    2. Do you think organizations like trade aid help reduce the global social injustice of child labor. Explain your answer
    3. See video on trade Aid
    4. Go onto the website on trade Aid NZ, and examine its role in this country. How effective has this been to us as consumers? Explain critically.

    Learning Intentions: We are learning to (WALT)...

    • To understand what is trade and and its effect in changing consumer power from child labor products to one that is in line with human justice.
    • create an informative chart based on this idea
    • understand the effect or impact trade aid has on NZ consumers
