Kia ora...students. For this week we will study what support has been given to reduce child soldiers in various countries.Researching ideas based on international aid/ governmental assistance and self help

Activities:

1. By referring to your individual case study, research what laws or policies that the government has developed to stop the child soldier crisis.
2. Has there been any international support such as from the United Nations or Human Rights Commission
3. Discuss how you would address this problem if you had the power and means to stop child soldiers in your chosen location.
4. Show critically your opinion.
5. Discuss what is meant by self help strategies.
6. See documentaries in class strategies to reduce children at war
7. In class evaluation of articles that addresses recommendations to child soldiers
