  • Kia ora, I hope you are all doing well. By now, you should have all finished reading your novels, this will make completing your one-pagers a lot easier! This week we are going to work on analysing the plot and structure of your novels. Please go through the attached PowerPoint before beginning your one-pager. If you have any questions, please email me at sdowdall@mhjc.school.nz. 

    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • I will be able to successfully analyse the structure of my novel.
    • I will be able to identify and then create a one-pager analysing the key plot/structure. 

    Activities:  

    • Create a one-pager analysing the plot and structure of my novel. 
    • Use the PowerPoint to support creating your one-pagers. Identify each part of the plot (outlined in the PowerPoint) in your novel. e.g identify the Exposition, Rising Action, The Climax, Falling Action, Conclusion

    Homework:

    • Upload all of your completed one-pagers to Google Classroom.
