The Science behind the Sails 

Our context this term is the Prada Cup Sailing competition that is taking place here in Auckland. 

Within Pūtaiao ( science ), we will be focusing on forces and motion.  Last week we looked at what forces were and examples of the different types of forces. 

Success Criteria: By the end of this week you will be able to: 

• Learn how various factors determine the force of buoyancy
