      • We are FOCUSSING on expressing our ideas, opinions and thoughts on our chosen topic by planning and constructing an oral presentation.
      • We are FOCUSSING on effective public speaking by understanding, discussing and applying the features of verbal language, body language for making an oral presentation.
    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI

    PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:

      • We are PLANNING to construct a Verbal text so that we can demonstrate an understanding of the purpose and audience through deliberate choice of content, language and text form.
      • We are PLANNING to deliver an oral presentation so that we can express our ideas, opinions and thoughts on our chosen topic.

    Activities: (CHECKPOINT 2: 25TH JUNE)

    -Completing the 'introduction' to our speech (NCEA students must add their name and class in their introduction)

    -Completing the 'First body paragraph' of our speech.
