PLAN & DO / WHAKAMAHI learning intentions:
We are planning to watch the documentary 'Blakey' so that we can apply the ideas and visual language features in our own texts.
Activities:
-You have already submitted the Global Studies' section of the assessment. This week you continue to work on your English assessment.
For your English assessment, you may write it as an essay complete with an introduction (introduce your cartoon/meme), 3 body paragraphs for the following three points and conclusion. Your body paragraph must be in minimum 150 words for each of the following questions:Submission Date:-Discuss at least two visual language features that you have used in your cartoon/meme
-Explain why you used those visual language features (purpose) and what was their intended impact on your audience
-Justify how your/your group’s feelings were expressed through the visual language choices in your meme/cartoon
(Also you must copy and paste your cartoon/meme on top of your Google doc.)
