    • Build on prior experiences, working together to share and examine their own and others’ knowledge.

    • Ask questions, find evidence, explore simple models, and carry out appropriate investigations to develop simple explanations.

    EXPLORE / TŪHURA learning intentions:

    • We are EXPLORING to recognise the different steps of the scientific method.
    • We are EXPLORING to investigate how observations, evidence, and scientific hypotheses contribute to the scientific method


    SUCCESS CRITERIA

    • Use information from primary and secondary sources to help predict results

    • Plan and conduct fieldwork and experiments

    • Assess whether the planned investigation is fair, safe and it able to be performed using available equipment
