MorphineResearch argument
As I am sure you are aware - later on in the year NZ will be having a referendum on Cannabis/marijuana. New Zealanders will be voting on whether to legalise marijuana for recreational/personal purposes.
You may have your own beliefs that you have made based on your own values, morals, family, media etc..
Your task: To argue both sides. You need to put yourself in the shoes of someone who does not want it legalised, and someone who does.
Complete research on why it should be legalised. - (you need evidence, you can’t just say because it cures cancer…. proof??)
Choose the three best reasons why you think it should be legalised
Write a large texas paragraph outlining these examples and why you think it should be legalised
Then start again
Complete research on why it shouldn't be legalised. (you need evidence, you can’t just say because it leads to death…. proof??)
Choose the three best reasons why you think it shouldn’t be legalised.
Write a large texas paragraph outlining these examples and why you think it shouldn’t be legalised.
3. Hosting a party
Your last task is to imagine you are hosting a party. There will be alcohol involved. When you take on the responsibility of hosting a party there are certain responsibilities you should take to ensure everyone is safe and has a good time. Complete some research, and apply common sense - what are at least five things you can do to ensure everyone at your house stays safe and gets home safely.
