    • Continue to develop your understanding of how to use drama techniques
    • Apply techniques in a short skit

    Activities:

    1. Learn what our drama techniques are
      - Voice - pitch, pace, projection, tone, breath, accent, 
      - Body - facial expression, gestures, posture
      - Movement - space, levels
    2. Understand why they are important and what they are used for within a performance
    3.  Open Script - you will receive a short script that has no context, scenario, genders etc.
      - you task, with your partner will be to interpret your scene and decide what it is you are talking about.  You will have 1.5 sessions to rehearse and brainstorm your idea, and .5 session to perform it to the rest of the class, using your drama techniques to get across your intentions.
