    I hope that you and your family are safe and well. 

    We are Mr Basil Taha and Mr Satendra Lal and will be your Robotics and  Coding teachers during term2

    In this course we are going to explore Micro:bits and how to code them to achieve different outcomes. We will start this week by learning about simple Micro:bits codes and then we learn how to connect Micro:bits to bread board circuit and electronic components. Please check through the attached guides for a start, and we will go through more detail when we meet.

    At this stage we are going to run our sessions through google meet and we are going to assign work for you on MHOL and google classroom. so check the google classroom page every week and submit whatever work you do there.

    WALT-

    • Understand how technological systems employ control to allow for the transformation of inputs to outputs.

    SC-

    • Can use technological systems to understand and communicate using Microbit coding.
    • Can work with sensors and infrared to control the mainboard output.


    Activities:

    Your first task for the rest of the week is to visit Google Classroom and then click on the provided links about Robots and computational thinking.
    You need to watch the videos and then attempt the quizes. You can then enjoy the related games in there. BrainPop site will provide you with the useful information about many topics and subjects.
