This week we have a holiday Monday to commemorate The Queen's birthday! Enjoy time with your family and friends as the level 2 restrictions are lifted and you can be in a bigger bubble now :o)

Challenge: make a google doc with your answers and information.
Can you answer these questions about The Queen?
Is it really 'The Queen's' actual birthday today?
- How old is Queen Elizabeth?
- Where does she live?
- Who are her subjects? (who is she queen of?)
- make a list of her family members (children and grandchildren) and add some pictures of the royal family.
- Describe two very recent royal occasions - there are several to choose from (think hatches and matches)
- Who is heir to the throne - can you name the top 7 contenders in order?
STATIC IMAGE
Success Criteria: I can/have...
- identify the elements that make up a static image
- present a static image using appropriate layout
- show an awareness of purpose and audience in a number of static images and transfer them to our learning context "WAI AND KAI"
- written S.E.X.Y paragraphs about 3 elements over the next 3 weeks to show understanding of the make up of a static image
- Respond to a visual text with our own unique writing voice
- listen to a novel as a shared reading and writing experience

Friday S2: Static image stocktake - where are you at? The Cay - reading chapter 4 and the quiz on google classroom

- We are FOCUSING on comparing the characters in our shared novel to explain the actions they take
