    • recall basic facts with accuracy and speed; focus especially on times table up to x12
    • meaningfully define what multiplication is with own understanding (in own words)
    • understand the connection between multiplication and addition; i.e. repeated addition
    • see multiplication as how many times of a number or an amount using material representation as well as using imaging
    • make word problems to depict a multiplication equation
    • solve multiplication problems using basic fact knowledge; e.g. times table
