  • Welcome back 7C1. 


    The year 2020 has been an extraordinary one. We have seen the world halt, crumple, revive and unite. If anything, this extraordinary experience has taught us to stop, reflect and trust the power of unity, resilience and courage, value individuality, and spread understanding, empathy and empowerment.

    In the next two weeks, we will dedicate our focus to building understanding through empathy and empowerment, and English assessment (Science Fair project presentation).

    FOCUS / ARONGA learning intentions:

    • We are FOCUSING on the values empathy and empowerment and understanding through "Just because...' poems.


    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • confidently presented my Science Fair project to an audience
    • cleverly crafted a 50-word story on Kindness.
    • voiced my feelings through "Just because...' poems

    Activities:   

    1. A 50-word story challenge! 
    • Class activity- choose a non-living object. Plan and write a 50-word story using the example given. (see below)
    1. Oral presentation assessment (Science Fair project)

    3. Choose a subject and write a "Just because...' poem from its point of view.
