    • We are PLANNING to 'hand-pick' words in a text so that we can create new meaning (through blackout poems).


    Success Criteria: I can/have...

    • scan the text for an anchor word
    • read the text again, use a pencil to lightly circle words that connect to the anchor word
    • for my reference, list the circled words in my book in the order they appear.
    • read again to edit
    • block out everything else
